Celebrating 75 Years of Sweet Success: Gold Medal Marks a Milestone at the 2023 IAAPA Expo
With more than a century of history between them, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and Gold Medal are long-standing pillars of excellence for the attractions industry. This year marks a significant milestone for the partnership as Gold Medal celebrates its 75th year as an exhibitor at the IAAPA Expo.
“Decades of dedication to IAAPA have been a cornerstone of our journey at Gold Medal,” expresses Gold Medal president, Adam Browning. “Concession foods aren’t merely snacks, they’re a central aspect of the attractions experience. Our mission is to craft unforgettable moments for guests, offering them unparalleled, joyous memories. It’s a privilege for Gold Medal to showcase our expertise in the industry and offer our premier concession equipment and supplies to the incredible IAAPA community.”
Gold Medal sets the standard as the second-longest exhibitor with the IAAPA Expo. As such, the company has forged meaningful relationships through the years with attendees. Many look forward to visiting the Gold Medal booth year after year.
2022 IAAPA chairman of the board and president of Whiting’s Foods, Ken Whiting shares his insights into the longevity of the partnership between Gold Medal and IAAPA, “Congratulations and thank you to Gold Medal for celebrating the 75th anniversary of IAAPA membership. I’ve attended the IAAPA Expo for over 40 years and every year I have counted on visiting the Gold Medal booth to learn what was new in menu items and equipment for the F&B concessions. Their continual improvements, innovation, and service over the years is a hallmark of their success.”
