Gold Medal's Response to COVID-19

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Gold Medal continues to work to adapt our business, while maintaining excellent service for our customers remains our top priority.

  • Gold Medal has expanded our capabilities to offer a line of safety products. This includes liquid hand sanitizer, hand sanitizing dispensers and stations, social distancing barriers, and face coverings.
  • As many businesses turn to prepackaged products, Gold Medal offers multiple options including gourmet popcorn, cotton candy, pretzels, and nachos. Plus, we also provide bags, tubs, and other containers that can be used to package your own items. (Read more about our prepackaged concession food solutions.)
  • Gold Medal has responded to the pandemic by fast-tracking select projects that were already in development. For example, we’ve released a touchless butter dispenser, which operates using photo-eye technology. In 2019, we introduced the ReadyServe®, a self-serve popcorn dispenser and ReadyPop®, a self-serve popper. Contactless concessions will continue to be a primary area of focus for our product development team.

The Gold Medal Fastop in Cincinnati, Ohio, along with our branch showrooms in Carolina, Chicago, Colorado, Columbus, Georgia, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Mid-Atlantic, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Tampa, and Tennessee, are all open daily with a limited number of employees so that we can maintain our service to you while following recommended safe work practices.  Our location in Central Illinois is open by appointment only. As information surrounding the coronavirus continues to change, we will continue to adapt our operations and business plans as needed.

Facility Visitors – All showroom locations are open to walk-in customers, except for our Central Illinois location which is by appointment only. All other visitors are asked to make appointments at all locations before visiting.

In the history of Gold Medal Products Co., we have never been in a situation like this. We recognize that the coronavirus and its effects are something we have not seen in our lifetime.
